I give an animatic assignment to the storyboarding class I teach at Vancouver Film School every term. They need to pick one of a handful of script segments I give them, storyboard it and then cut it together into an animatic and I thought it was about time I do the assignment myself.
It's been a long time since I've done storyboard that wasn't part of a bigger project I was also creating and under the gun with a deadline. It was fun being able to just lean into it for a change. And Night of the Living Dead is among my favorite horror films.
